1. Decide on representation for metadata dimensions:
   1. Code

2. Fully document schema
3. Decide how to represent the data, or more exactly the linkage between the data and metadata
4. Take some real-world data (or a subset of it) and convert it to PERI-XML ; discuss issues
   1. Tool-person assignments:
      • IPM (Dan)

      • TAU (Kevin)
      • Open|SpeedShop (Martin)
      • Cube3 (Bernd)
5. Write Version 0.1 whitepaper (or presentation)
6. Present PERI XML at CScADS workshop
7. Perform Tool -> PERI-XML -> Tool conversions
   • IPM -> PERI-XML -> CUBE: allows viewing of IPM data in the CUBE viewer
8. Present and discuss PERI-XML at SC09
   • Write up version 1.0 whitepaper, poster, flyer, etc.

Possible future work:

1. Write an API for reading PERI-XML output
2. Write prototypes for PERI XML converters/exporters
   1. Test with some "challenge"-type experiments, exchanging data from larger runs and pairwise
   2. Integrate prototypes with the PERI performance "portal"
