Adding a publication

To add an entry to the PERI publications list, first login to the wiki (if you need a login, email Dan Gunter to ask for one; if you are not a PERI-PI, please cc: the PI with whom you are working). Then navigate to the publications page and click on the "edit" tab at the top of the page. In the edit window, scroll down to the year and proper alphabetical spot for your publication. Type in your entry using the following special characters and format:

|-
|First Author, Middle Author1, Middle Author2, and Last Author. ''Publication Title'',
Conference Venue or Journal number, Date (notes)

For example,

|-
| V. Bui, B. Norris, and L. C. McInnes. ''An Automated Component-Based Performance Experiment Environment'',
Proceedings of the 2009 Workshop on Component-Based High Performance Computing (CBHPC 2009), Nov 2009 (to appear)

Important notes:

  • Do not add any newlines in the entry, as this will cause unnatural-looking breaks in the display.
  • Use two single quotes (' '), not double-quotes (") around the title. This will display as italics on the page.

When you are done, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on "Save page". This will take you to the view of the page. Please take a moment to check that everything looks correct before closing the page and returning to your busy schedule.

If you have any questions about these instructions, please feel free to email the person listed above for obtaining a login.
